Life is a lot like a videogame.
Not in the traditional sense of course, but rather in the way that you progress through the story.
[[Actually come to think of it, it's really like a role-playing game or RPG]]I mean think about it. The parallels are all there. Time passes slowly at first, and then there is a tipping point where it starts moving fast and never stops.
At the beginning of the game you go through the tutorial. Learn how to basically function in the world you exist in.
You learn how to walk, how to talk, how to gain experience and become a better person through these [[experiences.]] Then before you know it, you're out in the big wide open world and there are limitless paths for you to explore. Some people stick to a tried and true questline and others just kind of lose their way in the [[journey.]] All of a sudden everything is moving fast. Too fast.
You gain some important skills, get promoted, and save the kingdom with help from friends and family.
Next thing you know you settle down, get married, have some kids, and [[relax for a while.]] You teach your sons and daughters the same skills you were taught so that they too can go out on [[adventures.]]Then it seems like the next day, they leave the house and go off on that adventure.
You stay at home and offer words of wisdom to passersby and anyone who will [[listen.]]Shortly after this you realize you are old and an elder of the village. You offer guidance to young ones and tell them great stories from your [[youth.]] But every story must come to an end and eventually you die from being [[too damn awesome.]] But I guess that's where new game[[+]] comes in. Of course, that's just my opinion.
Time, mortality, and life in general are very big topics.
Still fun to talk about them though.
Anyway, thanks for reading.
